Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a SCADA Engineer to support a broad fleet of renewable energy projects across North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will maintain and integrate SCADA infrastructure, provide technical support, and work with a growing team to ensure reliable energy generation.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
• Validate system modifications and maintain proper operation of generation equipment.
• Support facilities and Invenergy Control Center with upkeep/troubleshooting of field equipment.
• Troubleshoot SCADA system reliability to improve performance.
• Lead technical resolutions with OEMs, integrators and engineering functions.
• Collaborate with other SCADA Engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry.
• Ensure SCADA architecture is scalable with new additions.
• Provide training and development support for engineers and site personnel.
• Mentor team members on SCADA technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
• Align contracts to organizational needs and operations teams.
• Identify platform versions that may resolve or pose challenges for operations.
