CMS Energy in Jackson, MI seeks a Senior SCADA Engineer to lead design and maintenance of systems that monitor and control the electric grid, including transmission and distribution networks. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to define requirements and ensure reliability.

The role demands expertise in SCADA architecture, cybersecurity compliance, and real-time operations, with on-call duties and a focus on safety, reliability, and regulatory adherence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 4+ years SCADA experience and cybersecurity exposure.
• Experience designing, configuring and maintaining SCADA systems for real-time operation.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols and cybersecurity standards.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor junior and mid-level SCADA engineers on best practices and standards.
• Lead FAT and SAT testing, commissioning and deployment of SCADA systems.
• Design and deploy SCADA to enable real-time monitoring of grid networks.
• Develop real-time grid applications and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Triage and resolve critical SCADA issues via root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT security to ensure CIP/SOC alignment.
