Siemens Energy is seeking a Mid-Level Control and Protection Engineer to support our Remote Operations Center. You will monitor SCADA systems in real time, respond to alarms, perform initial remote diagnostics, and coordinate with field personnel and engineering teams to ensure reliable grid operations.
The role is part of a 24/7 operations team that maintains grid reliability while continuously improving operational processes and response protocols.
Qualificações
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field required.
- 5–7 years of experience in SCADA operations and protection systems.
- Experience with real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and grid operations is preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Monitor SCADA systems across utility and renewable assets in real time.
- Respond to alarms, document issues, and perform initial remote diagnostics.
- Coordinate with field personnel and engineering teams using collaboration tools.
- Escalate critical events per operating procedures to ensure grid reliability.
- Provide feedback to improve alarm management and system performance.
- Participate in rotating 24/7 shift coverage.
