Job summary

Anduril Industries in McHenry, MS is seeking a Senior SCADA Controls Engineer to own the SCADA layer for solid rocket motor production, from PLC integration to Ignition applications and plant-wide visibility.

You will design, commission, and upgrade control systems; develop Siemens PLC code; enforce standards; integrate FactoryOS software; build SCADA in Ignition; lead root-cause analyses; and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4+ years of controls and automation in production.
• Expert in Siemens PLC programming with Ladder and Structured Text.
• Experience developing SCADA applications in Ignition.

Responsibilities

• Design, commission, and upgrade control systems for solid rocket motor production equipment.
• Architect, write, and debug Siemens PLC code with an emphasis on maintainable, reusable code.
• Generate and enforce internal standards for control systems architectures, safety buyoffs.
• Integrate internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines.
• Build and maintain SCADA applications in Ignition (Perspective, tag architecture, historian).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures.
• Install, configure, and tune servo drives / VFDs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and drive continuous improvement.
