Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Senior Loan Operations Administrator - SBA to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SBA and complex commercial loan transactions in Phoenix, AZ (and Reno, NV). You will oversee processing, documentation, closing, and funding while coordinating with Relationship Managers, Credit, Legal, and other partners.

The role requires 5+ years of SBA processing experience, strong SBA SOP knowledge, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SBA loan processing and closing experience (7(a), 504, Express).
• Strong knowledge of SBA SOP and lending regulations.
• Experience with complex commercial loan structures and multi-party transactions.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven pipelines.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing and closing of SBA 7(a), 504, and Express loans and related commercial products.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, CDCs, legal counsel, title/escrow, and internal partners to facilitate timely closings.
• Lead borrower and counterparty communication to obtain and validate required documentation.
• Ensure transactions comply with SBA SOP, regulatory requirements, and internal policy.
• Book and fund loans in core systems and coordinate funding packages and disbursements.
• Monitor post-closing requirements and support ongoing portfolio management.
