Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Senior Loan Operations Administrator II in Chandler, AZ to manage complex commercial loan transactions across a diverse portfolio. You will oversee pipeline management, closing execution, and risk/compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

You'll lead coordination with relationship managers, credit, and portfolio teams, mentor junior staff, and drive process improvements while ensuring accurate loan documentation and timely funding.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in Loan Administration or lending.
• High school diploma required.
• Knowledge of general banking operations, including loan administration and commercial banking products.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations.
• Knowledge of one or more loan types.
• Proficient in multitasking in a team environment and focused on client service.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume pipeline of complex commercial loan transactions.
• Review credit approvals and structure transactions for required documentation and due diligence.
• Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Credit, and Portfolio teams for closings.
• Lead coordination of closing activities with internal and external partners (legal, title, escrow).
• Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy and compliance with terms.
• Identify and resolve closing risks related to collateral, lien, and structure.
• Ensure all loan transactions meet bank policies, credit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Execute loan funding and facilitate transition to Loan Servicing with accurate boarding packages.
• Monitor covenants and post-closing conditions; resolve exceptions to maintain compliance.
• Mentor and train Loan Administrators and contribute to process improvements.
