Western Alliance Bank, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, seeks a Vice President, SBA Business Banking in San Jose to lead SBA 7(a)/504 loan opportunities, coordinate with Credit Administrators and Loan Operations, and ensure timely, compliant processing across the SBA team.
The role requires 7+ years SBA lending, a finance or accounting degree, deep SBA program knowledge, strong credit analysis, and excellent written and verbal communication; travel up to 50% may be required.
The position will be challenging and require strong organizational skills, good communication both written and verbal and detailed knowledge of the SBA 7(a), SBA 504, SBA MARC, SBA International Trade Loan and SBA Express program. The regular duties will be to work collaboratively across the SBA division team, the dedicated Credit Administrators, and the processing and closing team within our Loan Operations and our bank's relationship managers and lending units. In this position you will use your commercial credit, loan structuring, SBA Eligibility requirements, and work within controlled checkpoints to review new loan requests, proper authorities for approval and sign off have been obtained, loans are being handled timely within Service Level Agreement for compliance within both the SBA program and the bank's audit and procedures guidelines.
Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $139,095.00 - $171,821.00 for San Jose, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $130,400.00 - $161,083.00 for Costa Mesa, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $130,400.00 - $161,083.00 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary range for new hires is generally $130,400.00 - $161,083.00 for San Diego, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
