Requires a JD and 5+ years in regulatory policy, with travel ~20% and onsite work in DC. Base salary ranges from $190,000 to $245,000 plus incentives, stock options, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

  • JD or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of experience with regulatory and policy matters.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • This position is based in Washington, DC and requires onsite work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and advocating for broadband and spectrum policies domestically and internationally.
  • Draft pleadings, letters, and advocacy pieces to promote SpaceX policy positions.
  • Contribute to satellite spectrum policy and outreach with government officials at all levels.
  • Represent SpaceX before the FCC, NTIA, and other regulators and legislatures.
  • Direct regulatory practice to secure licenses, compliance, and customer support for Starlink services.
  • Develop regulatory licensing applications and ensure system/service licensing compliance.
  • Provide strategic regulatory advice to business development efforts.
  • Advocate to align policy frameworks with SpaceX objectives.
