Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Satellite Policy Associate to lead advocacy for broadband and spectrum policy worldwide. You will work with Starlink regulatory advisors and engineers to influence policy environments for domestic and international portfolios.

You will engage with the FCC, NTIA, and other regulators, prepare licensing applications, and help ensure compliance for Starlink services from the US to global markets.

Qualifications

• JD or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
• 1+ years of experience with regulatory and policy matters.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering, math, chemistry, or physics discipline is preferred.
• Experience with FCC and other federal agencies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advocate for broadband and spectrum policies to advance SpaceX and Starlink objectives.
• Draft pleadings, letters, and advocacy pieces.
• Engage with government officials and regulators at all levels to advance policy positions.
• Represent SpaceX before FCC, NTIA, and other agencies to secure licenses and compliance.
• Prepare regulatory licensing applications and manage compliance requirements.
