Job summary

SpaceX in Washington, DC seeks a Sr. Satellite Policy Manager (Starlink Mobile) to drive regulatory and policy strategy for telecommunications, spectrum, and satellite policy, coordinating with international regulators and government bodies.

You will apply technical fluency, strategic communication, and advocacy to advance licensing positions; lead end-to-end policy development; collaborate with cross-functional teams and Starlink program.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in policy or at a technology company.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory strategy and policy development end to end, delivering outcomes on accelerated timelines
• Advocate to optimize satellite and telecom regulatory frameworks in alignment with SpaceX objectives
• Develop and advocate for broadband and mobile spectrum policies to further SpaceX and Starlink’s global success
• Represent the company’s positions in international fora, regulatory agencies, industry forums, and regional organizations
• Develop advocacy pieces, including pleadings with technical analysis in partnership with technical leads
• Deliver forward-looking strategy based on spectrum, business, and regulatory policy issues affecting program outcomes
• Advise the Starlink team on policies and industry developments affecting policy outcomes
