Job summary

SpaceX, based in Washington, DC, seeks a Sr. Satellite Policy Associate to lead regulatory advocacy for Starlink domestically and internationally. You will work with policy advisors and engineers to shape licensing, spectrum use, and compliance across portfolios.

Qualifications

• JD or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of regulatory and policy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and advocating for broadband and spectrum policies domestically and internationally.
• Draft pleadings, letters, and advocacy pieces.
• Contribute to satellite spectrum policy and outreach with government officials.
• Represent SpaceX before the FCC, the NTIA, and other agencies.
• Direct regulatory practice to secure necessary licenses and compliance for Starlink.
• Develop regulatory licensing applications and compliance requirements.
• Provide strategic regulatory advice to business development.
• Advocate to optimize regulatory frameworks aligned with SpaceX objectives.
