Job summary

Solidus Technical Solutions, LLC in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced RF Systems/Hardware Engineer to support a high-priority satellite communications system. This onsite role emphasizes engineering analysis, O&M, baseline management, and system enhancements.

The ideal candidate has an active TS/SCI with POLY clearance, a STEM bachelor's degree, 8 years of relevant experience, and proven RF systems expertise with schematics, BOMs, and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields.
• 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience supporting satellite communications ground stations.
• Experience generating and managing complex technical requirements.
• Active TS/SCI with POLY clearance.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS.
• On-site work in Aurora, CO and safety-trained.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve complex system outages to minimize downtime.
• Collect diagnostic data and document discrepancies.
• Develop reliable workarounds and changes to restore performance.
• Store, retrieve, and analyze operational data for capability analyses.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to isolate hardware faults and verify specs.
• Monitor equipment and perform modifications to maintain compliance.
• Support CONOPs and architectural evolution.
• Other duties as assigned
