Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead transformative ERP programs for a major financial institution. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage risks, and coordinate data conversion and cutover activities with SAP S/4Hana expertise.

You will oversee multiple workstreams, manage budgets, and report project health to executives, ensuring on-time delivery and realization of program benefits. Experience with large vendor teams is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have major financial institution transformative program/project management experience.
• Prior SAP ERP project experience, preferably with SAP S/4 Hana.
• ERP project experience related to Data Conversion, Deployment Cutover planning and Execution.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple business partners and large data sets.
• Strong stakeholder relationship building and communication across leadership levels.
• Experience driving large scale tech-focused programs with internal and vendor resources.
• Ability to create and drive multiple project/workstream schedules in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate with managers and SMEs to drive project activities and issue resolution.
• Work with business, operations and technology leads to support program needs.
• Ensure project activities stay on track to deliver benefits realization.
• Install risk management plans and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Follow PMLC methodology, risk routines, and governance activities.
• Engage stakeholders to mitigate cross-team concerns and develop resolution paths.
• Lead teams of internal and/or external resources on a project basis.
• Manage project budget forecast and actuals per reporting routines.
• Create and maintain project variances and mitigation plans.
• Prepare dashboard reporting to communicate project health to executives.
• Prepare documentation and presentations to support workstreams.
• Plan readiness items: client communications, teammate communications, and training.
• Identify change and coordinate with teams for readiness planning and execution.
