Job summary

Dow has an exciting opportunity for an SAP Senior Software Engineer (ABAP/UI5/Fiori) based in Midland, MI, and Houston, TX. You will actively design, develop, and support end-to-end SAP solutions, shaping architecture and delivering with agility.

Lead complex SAP development across core processes, collaborate with global teams, and mentor junior developers while advancing Dow’s SAP and digital transformation strategy. Dow offers a competitive rewards package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Math, Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent military experience at or above U.S. E5 or Canadian rank, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Full Stack Developer; 8+ years preferred.
• Experience with at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.
• Willingness to work in US locations (Midland, MI / Houston, TX) and legally work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support end-to-end SAP solutions with ABAP, UI5/Fiori, and RAP.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map requirements and design solutions.
• Provide accurate development estimates and contribute to delivery planning using Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in ABAP, UI5 and RAP.
