Job summary

Groundswell is seeking a senior SAP development leader to guide architecture, development, testing, and delivery of SAP solutions for federal agencies. You will mentor a team of SAP developers, drive SDLC best practices, and ensure scalable, reliable software across multiple modules including EWM, FI, TM, and MM.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in SAP with leadership progression, deep experience across SAP lifecycle deployments, and comfort with Agile and DevOps.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active security clearance or clearable
• 15+ years SAP development and leadership experience
• Minimum 2 full SAP lifecycle implementations
• 3+ years Agile development experience
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as required

Responsibilities

• Establish development standards and SDLC best practices; enforce via code reviews
• Review designs and provide guidance to improve performance and sustainability
• Oversee SAP solution design, development, integration, testing, implementation and maintenance
• Provide technical directions to a team of SAP developers, including mentoring
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of software solutions
• Collaborate with Solution Architect to develop scalable technical architecture
• Lead agile and DevOps practices across projects
• Participate in customer collaboration aligned with product objectives
• Perform error analysis and extend or modify existing designs
• Develop project schedules, assign resources, and monitor progress across teams
• Prepare progress reports for leadership and customers
• Mitigate risks and manage issues to keep status up to date
• Create basis of estimates and program schedules for multiple solutions
• Author technical documents and root cause analyses
• Foster team learning and professional development
• Mentor team members and support management duties
