Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Senior Deployment Lead to de-risk large SAP implementations, overseeing three pillars: Business Readiness, Cutover and Hypercare. You will translate business requirements into technical specs and drive delivery with global teams.

You will manage complex deployments, lead client engagements, and ensure delivery of SAP projects that align with strategic roadmaps. A strong leadership and collaboration focus is essential in a hybrid client-facing role.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of experience delivering SAP-enabled business transformations with deep expertise in one or more SAP modules.
• At least 5 years leading large-scale SAP implementations or rollouts across Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products sectors.
• Proven experience leading complex SAP deployment workstreams including planning, execution and stabilization, while managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience with all pillars of deployment and de-risking business transitions.
• Experience managing offshore and remote delivery teams.
• Knowledge of best practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and advisory experience in industry-specific finance and technology functions.
• Strong research skills to address client inquiries and emerging issues including regulations and new technologies.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships daily.
• Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics.
• Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
• Drive large-scale SAP pursuits and build long-term client relationships across sectors.
• Align SAP solutions with client contexts and roadmaps; develop pipelines with sector alliances.
• Utilize an integrated sales framework to address client transformation needs.
• Lead program and project management with travel as needed.
• Manage client relationships, engagement economics and resource planning.
• Deliver high-quality SAP projects and workstreams as delivery lead.
