Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice seeks a Senior Platform leader to define and own end-to-end SAP platform strategy across multi-workstream transformation programs, including S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield, plus BTP/cloud extension. You will influence architecture decisions, set engineering standards, and manage 20+ Basis professionals across concurrent engagements.

Travel may be required; strong executive communication and prior CIO/IT Director level relationship experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years experience in SAP Basis.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience across the full SAP Basis domain (HANA architecture, HA/DR, security/compliance, transport governance, monitoring operations, cloud infrastructure).
• Minimum of 3 years managing complex, multi-geography SAP landscapes in transformation and AMS contexts, including RISE engagements and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Minimum of 3 years owning client relationships at CIO/IT Director level with SLA accountability and commercial discussions.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ Basis professionals across multiple engagements.
• Bonus points for SAP certification in SAP Technology, HANA Administration, or SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with SAP AI architecture.
• Experience with SAP RISE commercial model and cross-platform architecture decisions.
• Experience with hyperscaler-native tooling in SAP on cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end SAP platform strategy across multi-workstream transformation programs.
• Lead enterprise-scale SAP landscape architecture decisions including HA/DR, RISE, and cloud positioning.
• Set platform engineering standards and governance frameworks for delivery methodologies and tooling.
• Own the commercial and delivery relationship for Basis platform scope on roadmaps and SLAs.
• Represent the platform perspective in program governance and communicate platform complexity to leadership.
• Travel may be required (0–100%).
