Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Cloud and Storage Engineer to design and implement SAN architecture across EMC storage platforms, including Unity, Isilon, VNS, and Data Domain. You will define disaster recovery and security strategies, deliver documentation, and drive uptime for a multi-enterprise environment.

The role requires deep EMC product knowledge, strong backup and capacity planning, and a focus on enterprise-scale storage solutions with potential Gov Cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; eight years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Direct experience with Dell EMC products (OneFS, MDS switches, Unity/Isilon, VNS, Data Domain).
• Hands-on involvement in SAN architecture, backup, disaster recovery, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements full-scale SAN architecture for EMC-based storage infrastructure.
• Defines strategic direction for SAN and backup environments.
• Designs enterprise storage solutions, deployment, and configuration.
• Provides capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost models.
• Maintains 24/7/365 uptime as part of a team responsible for SAN infrastructure.
