Job summary

CGS seeks a Cloud and Storage Engineer to develop and implement SAN architecture for a large EMC‑based SAN infrastructure supporting a federal agency. You will design, deploy, and secure storage, backup, and disaster‑recovery solutions in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires deep knowledge of Dell EMC products (Unity, Isilon, RecoverPoint), with Gov Cloud and hybrid cloud experience and a focus on uptime, performance, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science, business, or other relevant discipline.
• Eight (8) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Significant experience with Dell EMC products such as OneFS, MDS SAN switches, storage arrays (Unity, Isilon, VNS, and Data Domain), and RecoverPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements full scale Storage Area Network (SAN) architecture for a large EMC‑based SAN infrastructure.
• Defines strategic direction for SAN and backup environment and designs enterprise solutions.
• Provides storage and backup capacity planning, utilization reporting, and cost models.
• Produces standards and implementation processes for storage configuration, optimization, replication, and security.
• Maintains uptime and troubleshoots complex SAN infrastructure issues with internal and external customers.
