BMSS Advisors & CPAs is seeking a seasoned Sales & Use Tax Manager to lead multistate tax engagements across diverse industries from Birmingham, AL. The role blends technical SALT consulting with proactive client relationship management and team leadership.

You will guide nexus analyses, taxability determinations, and planning while coordinating audits and controversy matters. A strong communicator who mentors staff and grows the practice is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of sales & use tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of multistate sales & use tax laws and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multistate sales & use tax compliance engagements across jurisdictions.
• Advise on nexus, taxability determinations, transaction structuring, and planning.
• Manage audits, VDAs, and controversy matters with state & local authorities.
• Conduct voluntary disclosure agreements, refund studies, and recovery reviews to identify savings.
