The role emphasizes research, compliance, consulting, and controversy work, with a strong focus on client service and business development. The successful candidate will have eight+ years of SALT experience, a CPA or equivalent certification preferred, and proficiency with tax software and MS Office.

Formación

• Eight+ years of state and local/multistate experience.
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supervising tax professionals on engagements.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; familiar with standard tax applications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead SALT engagements and supervise staff on engagements and reviews.
• Prepare and review tax provisions and respond to notices from tax authorities.
• Develop tax strategies, consult with clients, and assist in selling strategies.
• Represent clients in tax controversy and assist with audits.
