Qualifications

• 4 year degree in accounting or related field.
• Eligible to obtain CPA, Law License/JD, or CMI.
• 3+ years of public accounting or industry experience in multi-state income and franchise tax.
• Strong time management, communication, analytical thinking, and client service.
• Ability to manage complex projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with state income/franchise, sales taxes, nexus, and filing positions.
• Conduct technical research on state tax laws and regulatory changes.
• Analyze client data to identify filing obligations and tax exposures.
• Support state tax audits, notices, and controversy matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in business development.
