This role emphasizes growth, collaboration, and professional development. You will work with firm leadership to support middle-market and Fortune 500 clients on complex state tax matters, while advancing toward CPA/Law/JD/CMI

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field preferred.
3 years of experience in public accounting or industry with multi-state income/franchise tax compliance and consulting.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with state income/franchise, sales taxes, nexus, and filing positions.
Conduct technical research on state tax laws and regulations.
Analyze client data to identify filing obligations and tax planning opportunities.
Support clients in state tax audits, notices, and controversy matters.
Develop technical expertise in state tax and communicate insights to clients and internal teams.
Manage multiple client projects with accuracy and timeliness.
