You will interact with state and local tax authorities and help manage engagements with precision and integrity. Ideal candidates have 2+ years SALT experience, strong communication skills, and a CPA or equivalent credential.

Qualifications

• Two+ years state and local/multistate experience.
• CPA certification or other relevant certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with tax provisions and compliance in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Frame issues requiring research and identify sources of information.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of various tax authorities.
• Prepare and review tax returns with SOX-compliant processes.
• Develop relationships with state tax authorities and clients.
