Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a Tax Senior, State and Local Tax to advise clients on tax implications, develop compliant strategies, and manage tax engagements.

You will handle research, planning, and controversy matters, while serving as a primary client contact and coordinating with internal teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in state and local tax, and the ability to present findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2+ years of state and local/multistate tax experience is required.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax planning and compliance services for SALT clients.
• Prepare and present client presentations.
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities as needed.
• Supervise and review tax returns and related analyses.
