Job summary

• Identify tax issues and frame issues for research.
• Understand various state and local tax authorities.
• Prepare and review WTA and tax returns.
• Build relationships with in-state and out-of-state tax authorities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies when research is needed; frames issues to be researched; identifies sources of information and reports analysis.
• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of various tax authorities.
• Applies firm standards for preparation of tax returns and related documents.
• Develops and maintains relationships with DOT/DOR personnel.
• Ensures clients comply with authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burdens.
• Communicates with clients to gather information and present findings.
