Job summary

Salesforce Professional Services seeks a Technical Architect to serve as strategic advisor and Salesforce platform expert for large Public Sector customers. The role includes presales and implementation, shaping engagements and leading technical oversight.

You will mentor teams and drive architectural excellence, with a focus on scalable, secure solutions built on the Salesforce Platform. You will collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to ensure successful outcomes,

Qualifications

8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting on the Salesforce Platform (Core Sales/Services) within Public Sector.
Strong design, data, integration, and security architecture skills.
Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend a point of view to a variety of audiences.
Thorough individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.
A great listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles.
Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration.
Background check and security clearance eligibility; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Serve as trusted advisor to the client.
Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow the consulting practice; contribute to the knowledge base.
Guide customers and colleagues in deploying emerging technologies that drive business value.
Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions to meet client needs.
Contribute to program strategy and enable Salesforce technologies across engagements.
