Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Salesforce Software Developer to administer, configure, develop, test, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise apps supporting CX operations. This role partners with Business Systems Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, QA Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions across the full SDLC.

The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce development skills with platform administration and experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
4+ years of hands-on Salesforce application development experience, including 2+ years supporting Salesforce Service Cloud.
Strong experience with Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, and REST APIs.
Experience in SDLC within Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration across business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce Service Cloud and integrated enterprise applications.
Lead the technical implementation of complex Salesforce enhancements using Apex, LWC, Flows, and APIs.
Collaborate with analysts, product owners, architects, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Provide technical leadership during design, code reviews, and planning, ensuring Salesforce best practices and security standards.
Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise apps using REST APIs and middleware.
Design, execute, and support unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
Analyze and resolve production issues with root cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
Participate in Agile processes including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and deployments.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to platform architecture and standards.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
Develop and maintain technical docs, standards, and deployment procedures.
