Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island is seeking a Lead Salesforce Software Engineer to lead a Salesforce delivery pod serving Sales, Service, and Configuration workstreams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will translate business priorities into scalable Salesforce designs, mentor developers, and drive agile delivery, release management, and security practices across complex integrations and multiple Clouds.

Qualifications

Seven to ten years of Salesforce platform experience with strong hands-on development and configuration experience.
Experience leading technical execution for agile/scrum teams or pods.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce designs and implementation plans.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of a Salesforce pod including developers, QA, analysts, and configuration admins.
Provide hands-on technical leadership for Sales, Service, and Configuration workstreams.
Guide developers on solution approach, design tradeoffs, and debt management.
Review and direct configuration, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, APIs, and integrations.
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness.
Mentor and coach team members on platform best practices and governance.
