Job summary

Amplitude is seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer to own end-to-end visibility of our Salesforce platform. You will manage CPQ, quote-to-cash, data governance, and integrations across Salesforce and connected systems within a GTM engineering context.

You’ll partner with Sales, GTM Ops, Finance, Product, and Engineering to deliver well-governed, scalable solutions and drive improvements across production and pre-production environments. Equity and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on platform administration, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, upgrades, and user support
• Maintain CPQ, pricing, quoting, and opportunity workflows to support quote-to-cash
• Serve as escalation line for Salesforce issues, driving root cause fixes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users across RevOps and Salesforce ecosystem
• Define and implement Salesforce SOPs including field hygiene, data retention, integrations, permissions
• Conduct regular system audits and health checks to identify data quality issues
• Manage pre-production/production environments, deploy changes via change sets or DevOps tooling
• Own Salesforce license allocation and forecasting, monitor storage
• Build integrations and data flows between Salesforce and external systems
• Create and maintain system documentation for cross-team training and release planning
• Contribute to roadmap initiatives from design to deployment
• Stay current with Salesforce platform changes and new features
