Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Salesforce Platform) based in Plano, TX to lead transformation of core systems into agile, cloud-native platforms.

You will design robust Salesforce architectures, mentor teams, and drive secure, scalable solutions across multiple cloud environments. The role requires 6+ years with Service Cloud/Sales Cloud/Experience Cloud, Apex, LWC, OmniScripts, and Copado, with strong CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex development, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, and scalable business logic.
• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components, with ability to build modern UI components.
• Deep configuration and automation skills (Flows, validation rules, page layouts, dashboards).
• Expertise in OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and connecting them with back-end systems and APIs.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data modeling for integration.
• Experience working with Copado to manage Salesforce deployments; release management and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions to improve agent productivity and customer-facing support experiences.
• Develop custom business logic and modern UI components using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Implement OmniScripts and Integration Procedures to streamline business processes and data flow.
• Partner with product, UX, QA, and architecture teams to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Take ownership of system reliability by performing root-cause analysis and troubleshooting production issues.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, documentation, and mentorship to elevate engineering capabilities.
