Job summary

Toyota Financial Services in Plano, TX seeks a Sr. Salesforce Platform Engineer to lead modernization of core systems into cloud-native services. You will architect and build Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions, write Apex and Lightning Web Components, and mentor peers across teams.

You will collaborate with product, UX, QA and architecture to drive automation using OmniScripts and Integration Procedures, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foundation for software engineering and Salesforce development.
• 6+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Strong Apex development including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, and scalable logic.
• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components for modern, reusable UI components.
• Deep configuration and automation skills: Flows, validation rules, page layouts, dashboards.
• Experience designing OmniScripts and Integration Procedures for end-to-end automation.
• REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data modeling for integration.
• Experience with Copado for deployments; release management and CI/CD.
• Salesforce certifications: Admin, Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant.
• Bonus: Einstein features; familiarity with Agentforce; Dynatrace monitoring.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the transformation of our core business systems into agile, cloud-native, and service-oriented platforms. By leveraging modern frameworks and strong technical judgment, you will help shape the long-term evolution of our technology and enable a best-in-class experience for our customers and partners while supporting Toyota Financial Services’ vision of mobility for all.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will help drive major technology transformation by owning key components across multiple cloud environments and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions. Success means building robust Salesforce architecture, collaborating across teams, and mentoring others to ensure our systems remain secure, performant, and aligned with long-term business goals. Design and implement sophisticated Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions that improve agent productivity and customer‑facing support experiences. Develop custom business logic and modern UI components using Apex and Lightning Web Components to solve complex challenges where standard tools fall short. Implement advanced Salesforce solutions using OmniScripts and Integration Procedures to streamline business processes and data flow. Partner closely with product, UX, QA, and architecture teams to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable, high‑quality technical solutions. Take ownership of system reliability by performing root‑cause analysis, troubleshooting production issues, and driving Salesforce development standards. Provide technical leadership through code reviews, documentation, and mentorship to help elevate the capabilities of the engineering team.

What you bring

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent foundation that supports success in software engineering and Salesforce development.
• 6+ years of hands‑on experience across Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud, delivering complex enterprise solutions.
• Strong expertise in Apex development, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, and scalable business logic.
• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components, with the ability to build modern, reusable, and performant UI components.
• Deep configuration and automation skills, including Flows, validation rules, page layouts, and reporting dashboards.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining OmniScripts, building Integration Procedures, and connecting them with backend systems and APIs to streamline guided processes and enable end‑to‑end automation.
• Proven problem‑solving abilities, including experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data modeling to support seamless integration and data integrity.
• Experience working with Copado to manage and automate Salesforce deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Hands‑on knowledge of release management, version control, and CI/CD practices within Salesforce using Copado.
• Salesforce Certified Professional : Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant.
• Added bonus if you have Experience leveraging Einstein features to enhance platform capabilities.
• Familiarity with Agentforce tools to drive support innovation.
• Knowledge of Dynatrace monitoring tools to help ensure system health and reliability.
