Job summary
American Express is seeking a senior Salesforce engineer to join the Enterprise CRM Solutions team. You will design and deliver complex Salesforce solutions, provide architectural direction, and mentor engineers to raise standards across the organization.
You will own end-to-end implementations, manage risk, and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Architecture stakeholders to drive modernization and scalable platforms.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with complex enterprise solutions.
- 5+ years architecting, designing and developing on the Salesforce platform.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, APIs, integrations and Salesforce data/security models.
- Experience providing technical leadership across engineering teams, including solution design and code reviews.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, integrations and platform capabilities from requirements to production.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across Product, Engineering and Architecture teams.
- Own end-to-end solutions, identify dependencies and drive risk mitigation.
- Lead design discussions and influence decisions across partner teams.
- Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards through code/design reviews.
- Stay hands-on with development while promoting code quality, testing and automation.
