Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect within the Professional Services group to lead enterprise-scale architecture efforts on Salesforce Platform projects. You will advise clients, design scalable solutions, and guide teams through complex technology deployments to maximize value and minimize technical debt.

You’ll work with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to architect technology solutions, drive strategic roadmaps, and ensure long-term success with Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 8+ years enterprise architecture or consulting experience
• 4+ years leading Salesforce Core Projects
• Strong design, data, integration and security architecture skills
• Strong presentation skills; can defend a point of view
• Detail-oriented with ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of engaging diverse audiences
• Experience communicating with C-level executives and stakeholders
• Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform

• Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives within the consulting practice
• Guide customers in deploying emerging technologies to drive business value
• Demonstrate strong communication, teaching complex concepts and prescriptive thinking

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions with customers and partners
• Review program direction to keep projects on track and scalable
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Solution Architects to meet client needs
• Contribute to a program vision and advise on enabling technologies including Salesforce Platform
