Job summary

American Express is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer within the International Card & Risk Services Technology (ICRST) organization. You will provide technical leadership on security initiatives for Sales Platforms, with emphasis on protecting Salesforce applications and data across global markets.

You will partner with engineering, product, and business teams to identify cybersecurity risks, design controls, and implement secure architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security engineering practices, and risk mitigation.
• Working knowledge of the Salesforce platform and its security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and guidance on cybersecurity initiatives for Sales Platforms, with a focus on protecting Salesforce applications and data.
• Partners with engineering, technology, product, and business teams to identify cybersecurity risks and develop solutions that align security requirements with business objectives.
• Applies cybersecurity engineering principles to design, implement, and manage security controls across technology solutions.
• Collaborates with Salesforce platform teams, application owners, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are incorporated into solutions.
