Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architecture & Strategy Lead to drive architecture, strategy, and operational excellence for the CF patient services platform built on Salesforce.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, design innovative solutions, and ensure compliant and scalable platform delivery. You will partner with multiple business units, manage DevOps, oversee releases, and contribute to AI-driven initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and GxP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering or other related technology degree.
• 8 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Salesforce platforms and AI automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform architecture, strategy and technical initiatives for Mosaic (Salesforce-based technology).
• Define, manage and optimize DevOps framework for CF and scale to other disease areas.
• Drive call center implementation and cross-disease architecture considerations.
• Document and validate architectural/functional specs and facilitate design sessions.
• Communicate and analyze to drive architecture/design needs and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps for patient services capabilities.
• Achieve high stakeholder satisfaction across leadership levels.
• Coordinate releases and vendor integrations; coordinate with offshore teams.
• Develop relationships with IT, Quality, Vendors to deliver aligned solutions.
• Lead release management and production release scheduling with cross-functional partners.
• Lead platform communications to stakeholders (status, downtime, releases).
• Serve as Operations SME with GxP expertise for upgrades and integrations.
• Manage risk and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Champion delivery practices for efficiency and speed.
• Oversee CI/CD and software development capacity across teams.
• Input to budget/forecasting and resource allocation.
• Coach Vertex colleagues and MSPs.
