Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. The role covers Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL, APIs, and platform configuration, with a focus on enterprise-scale deployments.

The successful candidate will own projects from discovery to implementation, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and optimize security, data modeling, and governor limits within a trusted healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• ~5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and platform configuration.
• ~ Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
• ~ Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, data modeling, sharing rules, governor limits, and platform best practices.
• ~ Experience integrating Salesforce with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, event-driven architectures, or other integration technologies.
• ~ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• ~ Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, administrators, architects, and engineering teams.
