Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across multi-layer enterprise applications.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture for front-end, back-end, APIs, and data services, and drive SDLC excellence using SecDevOps practices. The role focuses on integrating Salesforce Data Cloud and related technologies to enable data-driven patient insights and scalable data platforms across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field and 5-8 years of technical, analytical, systems, and programming experience.
• Experience developing software across multi-layer stacks including front-end, back-end, data, and databases.
• Collaborative, cross-functional work experience with defined roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive technical initiatives spanning multiple systems and applications.
• Mentor Software Engineers I and II, providing training on technical/data analysis and code reviews.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for applications and services.
• Analyze, design, and develop new application solutions; create, test, debug, and document complex programs.
• Act as a lead resource during the Software Development Life Cycle.
