Job summary

The Pew Charitable Trusts is seeking a Manager, Salesforce to guide the strategic direction, governance, and ongoing enhancement of the organization’s CRM platforms, including Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and SmartSimple. You will lead a team of Salesforce professionals, partner with stakeholders, and manage vendor relationships to achieve strategic goals.

The role is remote and reports to the Senior Manager, Microsoft and Salesforce Technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including staff, project, and/or consultant management.
• Two or more years of direct supervisory experience, including performance management.
• Salesforce hands-on experience with certification preferred (Administrator, App Builder, Architect, etc.).
• Experience in nonprofit or advocacy-driven organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the platform owner for Salesforce, related CRM solutions, and ancillary applications.
• Directly manage team members, setting work priorities and performance targets.
• Build and maintain platform roadmaps for core Salesforce functionality, Marketing Cloud, and SmartSimple.
• Create solution designs, shaping requirements and scalable architectures.
• Configure and administer Salesforce and CRM solutions according to needs and releases.
• Enforce architecture standards and oversee delivery through reviews and governance.
• Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and budget planning for Salesforce activities.
• Foster a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible work environment.
