This hands-on leadership role blends people management with technical contribution, partnering with stakeholders across Care, Operations, Finance, Product, and leadership to deliver scalable, reliable Salesforce solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on development.
• 4+ years of experience managing Salesforce engineering teams.
• Deep Salesforce expertise across Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Flow, security and sharing, governor limits, and the Salesforce data model.
• Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps, including SFDX, Git, CI/CD, sandbox strategy, and automated testing.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with people leadership and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Salesforce engineers and administrators through coaching, performance management, career development, hiring, and onboarding
• Partner with the Platform Operations Manager and Salesforce Technical Architect to prioritize work, manage capacity, and deliver predictable outcomes
• Remain hands-on by contributing to approximately 25% of a normal engineering cycle
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex needs into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions
• Help improve platform reliability, reduce technical debt, and strengthen engineering practices across the team
• Serve as an escalation point for incidents and support blameless postmortems and continuous improvement
• Ensure work is appropriately captured, prioritized, and visible across the team
