Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect/Senior Engineer to lead multi-cloud initiatives across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds. You will design scalable SFMC and Data Cloud solutions, build unified customer journeys, and drive data-driven campaigns with robust integrations.

You will mentor a hybrid team, perform code reviews, and ensure security, performance, and best practices in a complex enterprise Salesforce environment.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years Salesforce ecosystem experience, Architect or Senior Engineer role preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud components: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPScript, Contact Builder.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360 ingestion, mapping, unification and activation.
• Cross-Cloud integrations bridging SFMC with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• SQL logic, data flow design, and complex audience segmentation.
• Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce environments (Build and Run projects).
• Core Salesforce development: Apex and Lightning Web Components.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards focused on SFMC, Data Cloud, and cross-cloud integrations.
• Own end-to-end solution design for multi-cloud implementations across Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds.
• Configure Data Cloud ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, and real-time segmentation for omnichannel campaigns.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, APIGEE).
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical patterns.
• Provide technical leadership to a hybrid team of onshore/offshore resources.
• Lead code/design reviews to optimize performance, security, and reuse.
