Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to design scalable SFMC and Data Cloud solutions, bridging Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud for unified customer journeys. Qualifications

• 8-12 years of Salesforce ecosystem experience (Architect, Senior Engineer, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPScript, and Contact Builder.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Data Cloud / Data 360 for data ingestion, mapping, unification, and activation.
• Experience bridging SFMC with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Strong SQL logic, data flow design, and complex audience segmentation.
• Knowledge of Agentforce and emerging AI marketing capabilities.
• Proven experience in MarTech solution design and multi-stream implementations.
• Experience in enterprise-scale Salesforce environments (Build and Run projects).
• Familiarity with core Salesforce development (Apex & Lightning Web Components).
• Experience with B2B/B2C lead and case management processes.
• Relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer, Data Cloud Consultant).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, focusing on SFMC, Data Cloud, and cross-cloud integrations.
• Own end-to-end solution design for multi-cloud implementations bridging Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
• Configure Data Cloud ingestion pipelines, Identity Resolution, and real-time segmentation for unified customer profiles for omnichannel campaigns.
• Design and implement seamless integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Marketing Cloud Connect, and Middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, APIGEE, MFT, Attunity).
• Provide solution architecture guidance to projects in alignment with Sales, Service, and Marketing strategy.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Solution/Product Owners, and Marketing Stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical patterns and data models.
• Provide technical leadership to hybrid teams onshore/offshore (contractors and FTEs).
• Lead quality assurance with code/design reviews (AMPScript, SQL, Automation Studio) and promote best practices and reusable frameworks.
