Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Complex Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for two properties—The Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta and Sonesta Bee Cave—through selling to corporate accounts, business travel, meetings and groups. You’ll focus on relationships, partnerships and smart sales strategies in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Ideal candidates have hotel sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel locally for outside calls and events.

Qualifications

• Hotel or hospitality sales experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate travel and negotiated rates
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel locally for outside sales and events

Responsibilities

• Drive hotel revenue growth with proactive sales efforts for business transient and corporate travel
• Develop strong relationships with corporate clients, travel managers and partners
• Identify and secure new business via networking, calls, site visits and lead generation
• Manage negotiated corporate rates, partnerships and transient sales strategies
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing and Front Office to align strategies
• Monitor market trends and account production to identify growth opportunities
• Conduct client meetings, site tours and networking events to promote the property
• Maintain accurate sales activity, accounts and revenue forecasting in CRM
• Support group and event sales to maximize total hotel revenue
• Achieve sales targets through strategic planning and execution
• Represent the hotel at industry events and community activities
• Foster a collaborative, energetic sales culture aligned with Sonesta's People People
• Handle additional duties as assigned
