Sonatype, the software supply chain security company, seeks a Principal Sales Engineer with a deep Cloud Architect background to act as the premier technical specialist for complex enterprise architectures. This role partners with our largest prospects to architect secure, scalable supply chains in modern AWS, IaC, and Kubernetes ecosystems.

Qualifications

Experience as a Cloud Architect or lead Infra Engineer in a Sales Engineering context.
Deep production familiarity with AWS ecosystems (EKS, IAM, VPC, ECS).
Hands-on Terraform provisioning and Helm deployments.
Knowledge of Cloud AI services and vector databases.
Proven track record in Fortune 500 PoCs and technical evaluations.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and design complex architectural blueprints for enterprise cloud environments.
Guide prospects on embedding Sonatype solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Helm.
Advise on secure Cloud AI and data intelligence within software supply chains.
Translate infrastructure capabilities into business outcomes and risk mitigation strategies.
Mentor the SE team and provide roadmap feedback to Product and Engineering.
