Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Business Data Analyst to shape the reporting, analytical, and AI-ready layer built on sales data. You will own the end-to-end analytics lifecycle from schema design to the weekly sales metrics used by leadership.

You will design dashboards, enforce data governance, and partner with Data Operations to refine models and metrics across CRM, accounts, opportunities, and campaigns. This role emphasizes senior technical guidance and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data analysis.
• Expert SQL, with the ability to build complex queries and structures for high-volume data.
• Strong analytical data modeling skills including dimensional design and conformed dimensions.
• Hands-on experience with a modern BI platform (Tableau/Power BI/Looker) including semantic layer design and governance.
• Direct experience with CRM data, with Salesforce strongly preferred.
• Experience building operational reporting with freshness expectations and change communications.
• Ability to translate unclear questions into defensible metrics with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dashboards and reporting views for sales metrics (pipeline, coverage, win rate, forecast attainment, partner performance).
• Set data governance guidance on assets vs ad hoc reporting and retirement of assets.
• Create reusable views and defined grains to ensure consistent metric logic across dashboards.
• Collaborate with Data Operations on data model improvements (accounts, opportunities, contacts, activities, campaigns, leads).
• Defend canonical KPI definitions and explain calculations down to the how and why.
• Perform analytics for coverage models, funnel diagnostics, and territory/channel performance.
• Mentor teammates, review analysts’ models, and document standards.
• Own end-to-end scope from schema design to sales metrics consumed weekly.
