Job summary

Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Sales Compensation Manager in Providence, RI to lead end-to-end compensation for designated sales teams. You will mentor a Sales Compensation Analyst, own commission calculations, and ensure accurate, timely payments while partnering with Finance and Sales leadership.

You will optimize compensation operations, implement system enhancements, and support the SPIFF program. A strong, collaborative leader with SaaS experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in sales compensation administration or related role at a SaaS company.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in full-cycle sales compensation administration — calculations, crediting, draws, clawbacks and dispute resolution.
• Hands-on experience administering a modern ICM tool (SPIFF preferred; Xactly, CaptivateIQ or similar acceptable).
• Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and CRM data.
• Strong Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop a Sales Compensation Analyst through regular feedback and growth.
• Own the accuracy of commission processing for assigned business units and oversee analyst work.
• Execute monthly and quarterly commission calculations on schedule.
• Produce commission statements and support monthly close and accruals with Finance.
• Identify process improvements to increase accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
