Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store focused on customer service. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and display merchandise, and help with store upkeep and planograms.

The role includes leading sales associates in the Store Manager’s absence, with responsibilities that span opening/closing procedures and daily operations to maximize sales and protect assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and operate a cash register.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager; perform duties in their absence.
