Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock and rotate items, and support the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction.

In this lead role you will perform duties of a Sales Associate and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic math skills for calculations and cash handling.
• Ability to operate a cash register.

Aufgaben

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases and handle payments.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays and maintain planograms.
• Clean the store; manage trash and housekeeping.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or ASM in their absence.
