Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store environment. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and help with displays while supporting the Store Manager in its absence.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some supervisory experience, with strong math, cash handling, and safety awareness. Expect a full-time schedule and active involvement in daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Stock and rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Clean the store and maintain cleanliness.
• Open and close the store under the Store Manager's direction.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager.
