Job summary

Skin Laundry is seeking a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate in New York to support the clinic team, lead by example on the sales floor, and deliver personalized client experiences. You will promote customized facials and skincare products, educate clients on routines, and help with opening/closing, register reconciliation and inventory.

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail, hospitality or service experience; skincare or aesthetics experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of retail operations, POS systems and cash handling
• Familiarity with Zenoti or similar scheduling and sales software
• Leadership or keyholder experience preferred
• Strong product knowledge and interest in skincare
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Full availability to work and be scheduled full-time, including evenings, holidays and special events
• Must work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) regularly
• Able to commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance
• Able to reliably commute to the home clinic and periodically cover other clinics as needed
• Able to stand for long periods, walk, and lift and move inventory or equipment up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor and support the clinic team in running the clinic efficiently
• Deliver personalized client experiences and promote skincare facials and products
• Educate clients on skincare routines and schedule/retain clients to meet sales targets
• Open and close operations, reconcile registers and manage inventory

Requirements

• Proven retail, hospitality or customer service experience, preferably in skincare or aesthetics (1–2 years preferred)
• Retail operations experience, such as cash reconciliation and opening/closing
• Point-of-sale experience; Zenoti experience is a plus
• Previous supervisory, coaching or keyholder experience is desirable but not essential
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) regularly, plus days, evenings, holidays and special events
• Work a minimum of 2 days per week, averaging 16 hours per week, with flexibility up to 24 hours
• Able to commit to a schedule made 60 days in advance
• Able to reliably commute to the home clinic and periodically cover other clinics as needed
• Able to stand for long periods, walk, and lift and move inventory or equipment up to 25 lbs

Summary

The Part-Time Senior Sales Associate supports the clinic team in running the clinic efficiently and leads by example on the sales floor. In this role you will deliver personalized client experiences, promote customized facials and products, educate clients on skincare routines, schedule and retain clients, and convert new clients to meet sales and service targets. You will also help with opening and closing, register reconciliation and inventory, coach Sales Associates, and support onboarding of new team members.
